These are scans of various versions of CN's locomotive data book (CN Diesel Unit Data). They have outline diagrams, and measurements for all locomotives current at the time of publication. They're in PDF format for which you'll need the Adobe Reader.

These files are very large and will take some time to download even via a high speed Internet connection. On a low speed dial-up connection, they will probably take forever!

Some of the data or diagrams may be a bit indistinct as some pages were scanned from a less-than-pristine paper version. Usually by playing with magnification factor in the Acrobat Reader, you will be able to decipher most of it.
